Cookies Policy

17 July 2026

This Cookies Policy explains how KEYFORGE TECH SRL uses cookies and similar technologies on https://keyforge.tech/.

It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your computer, telephone or other device when you visit a website. They may allow a website to maintain a shopping cart, keep a user signed in, remember preferences, protect forms against abuse, measure website activity or recognise a returning browser.

1.1 SESSION AND PERSISTENT COOKIES

Session cookies expire when the browsing session ends. Persistent cookies remain until their expiry date or until they are deleted.

1.2 FIRST-PARTY AND THIRD-PARTY COOKIES

First-party cookies are set through the KeyForge domain. Third-party cookies are set by another service used by the website.

2. SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES

We may also use browser local storage, session storage, pixels, tags, URL parameters and similar technologies.

References to cookies in this policy also include these technologies where the same legal rules apply.

3. YOUR COOKIE CHOICES

When you first visit the website, you can accept optional cookies, reject non-essential cookies or manage individual categories.

3.1 STRICTLY NECESSARY COOKIES

Strictly necessary cookies may operate without consent where they are required to provide the website, shopping cart, checkout, customer account, security or cookie-preference functions requested by you.

3.2 OPTIONAL COOKIES

Analytics and marketing cookies are activated only after you provide the relevant consent.

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through the Cookie Settings option available on the website.

Rejecting optional cookies will not prevent you from viewing the website or purchasing a product, although some optional personalisation or measurement features may be unavailable.

4. COOKIE CATEGORIES

4.1 STRICTLY NECESSARY

These cookies support essential functions such as the shopping cart, checkout, account login, website security and saving your cookie choices.

4.2 FUNCTIONAL

These cookies remember preferences or enable optional website features.

4.3 ANALYTICS

These cookies help us understand how visitors reach and use the website and whether the website functions correctly.

4.4 MARKETING

These cookies may connect website activity to a newsletter subscriber, measure email engagement or support permitted marketing flows.

5. COOKIES USED BY KEYFORGE

The exact cookies created depend on whether you are logged in, add a product to the cart, start checkout, subscribe to the newsletter, arrive through a marketing link and accept optional cookies.

5.1 COOKIE CONSENT PREFERENCE

The cookie-consent tool stores your selected categories so that the website can remember whether you accepted or rejected optional cookies.

This cookie is strictly necessary. Its exact name and duration depend on the consent tool configuration, normally between 6 and 12 months.

5.2 WOOCOMMERCE SHOPPING-CART COOKIES

  • woocommerce_cart_hash — helps WooCommerce identify changes to the shopping cart. Duration: session.
  • woocommerce_items_in_cart — records whether the cart contains products and helps update the cart interface. Duration: session.
  • wp_woocommerce_session_* — assigns a unique customer session so WooCommerce can retrieve cart information. Duration: normally two days.
  • woocommerce_recently_viewed — supports recently viewed products where that feature is active. Duration: session.

These cookies are strictly necessary or functional, depending on the feature being used.

5.3 WORDPRESS ACCOUNT COOKIES

  • wordpress_logged_in_* — maintains a logged-in customer or administrator session.
  • wordpress_sec_* — supports secure authentication.
  • wordpress_test_cookie — checks whether the browser accepts cookies.
  • wp-settings-* and wp-settings-time-* — store interface preferences for logged-in users.

Authentication cookies are strictly necessary. Preference cookies are functional.

5.4 WOOCOMMERCE ORDER ATTRIBUTION

Where WooCommerce order attribution is active, session cookies beginning with sbjs_ may temporarily store referral, entry-page and session information.

If an order is completed, relevant attribution information may be saved with the order. These cookies should be classified and controlled according to the active consent configuration.

5.5 KLAVIYO

  • __kla_id — may identify and track a visitor after the visitor submits a Klaviyo form or follows a tracked link from a KeyForge email. Category: marketing. Duration: up to two years after identification, subject to browser restrictions and configuration.
  • _kx — may be stored in session storage after a visitor follows a Klaviyo email link. It supports email-to-website identification and attribution. Category: marketing. Duration: session.

Klaviyo website tracking should remain inactive until the required consent has been provided.

5.6 GOOGLE RECAPTCHA

Google reCAPTCHA is used on selected forms to protect the website against spam and automated abuse.

It may set or read cookies such as _GRECAPTCHA and process IP address, browser information, device information and interaction data when it is executed.

Google determines the exact lifetime of its cookies. Google’s privacy information is available at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

6. EMAIL TRACKING

Marketing emails may contain tracked links and small tracking pixels.

These technologies may indicate whether an email was delivered, opened or clicked. Open information can be affected by email-provider privacy features and may not always be accurate.

We use this information to measure campaigns, manage subscriber segments and improve our communications.

You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.

7. BROWSER CONTROLS

Most browsers allow you to view, delete or block cookies through their settings.

Blocking all cookies may prevent the shopping cart, account login or checkout from functioning correctly.

Browser controls do not replace the website’s consent controls for optional cookies.

8. INTERNATIONAL PROCESSING

Klaviyo and Google may process information outside the European Economic Area.

Where required, these transfers are protected through an adequacy decision, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, Standard Contractual Clauses or another lawful safeguard.

9. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this policy when our website, plugins, providers or legal obligations change.

The latest version will be published on this page with an updated revision date.
