A “consumer” is an individual acting for purposes outside their trade, business, craft or profession.
Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights.
By submitting an order, you confirm that you have reviewed and accepted these Terms.
By downloading, installing or using KeyForge Master Configurator or official KeyForge firmware, you agree to the software provisions contained in these Terms.
You may place an order only if you are at least 18 years old or otherwise legally capable of entering into a contract.
If you place an order on behalf of a company or organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to act on its behalf.
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, specifications, compatibility information, photographs and prices are accurate.
3.1 PRODUCT APPEARANCE
Product photographs and renders are illustrative. Colours and surface appearance may vary slightly because of lighting, display settings, materials and manufacturing batches.
Minor visual variations that do not affect normal functionality are not automatically considered defects.
3.2 PRODUCT INFORMATION
The specifications, package contents, supported platforms and available options are those displayed on the product page when the order is submitted.
3.3 COMPATIBILITY
Customers should review the stated hardware, operating-system and software compatibility before purchasing.
Third-party application updates or operating-system changes may affect individual shortcuts or workflows without making the KeyForge product itself defective.
Product prices are displayed in the currency selected or applicable on the website.
The checkout page will display the product price, applicable taxes, shipping charges, discounts and total amount payable before the order is submitted.
4.1 IMPORT COSTS
For deliveries outside the European Union, import VAT, customs duties, brokerage fees or other local charges may apply.
Unless checkout expressly states that these costs are included, they are the customer’s responsibility.
4.2 PRICE CHANGES AND ERRORS
We may change prices at any time. Price changes do not affect orders already accepted.
If an obvious pricing or technical error occurs, we may contact you to confirm the correct price or cancel the order and refund any payment already received.
To place an order, you must select the product, provide the requested billing and delivery information, select an available payment and delivery method, review the order summary and confirm the obligation to pay.
You are responsible for checking that the information provided is accurate.
5.1 CONTRACT FORMATION
An automated order-receipt email confirms that we received your request but does not necessarily mean that the order has been accepted.
The sales contract is concluded when we expressly accept the order or send a dispatch confirmation.
5.2 ORDER REFUSAL OR CANCELLATION
We may refuse or cancel an order before dispatch if the product is unavailable, payment cannot be authorised, delivery information is incomplete, the order appears fraudulent, an obvious error occurred or fulfilment would be unlawful.
If we cancel a paid order, the amount received will be refunded without undue delay.
Products are subject to availability. Adding a product to the cart does not reserve it.
6.1 PREORDERS
If a product is identified as a preorder, the estimated production or dispatch date will be displayed on the product page or during checkout.
Preorder dates are estimates and may change because of production, component availability, testing or logistics.
6.2 PREORDER DELAYS
If a material delay occurs, we will inform you and provide a revised estimate.
You may cancel an unfulfilled preorder and receive a refund.
Available payment methods are displayed during checkout.
Payments may be processed by an independent payment provider under its own terms and privacy policy.
You confirm that you are authorised to use the selected payment method and that the billing information is accurate.
7.1 INVOICES
Invoices are issued using the information supplied during checkout and may be provided electronically.
Customers are responsible for checking company, billing and tax details before submitting the order.
We deliver only to destinations available during checkout.
Shipping methods, charges and estimated delivery periods are displayed before the order is submitted.
8.1 DELIVERY ESTIMATES
Delivery estimates are not guaranteed unless expressly stated.
Delays may occur because of customs processing, courier disruption, public holidays, weather, incorrect delivery information or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
8.2 DELIVERY INFORMATION
You must provide a complete and accurate delivery address.
If delivery fails because the address is incorrect, the parcel is refused without a legal reason or the parcel is not collected, you may be responsible for reasonable additional shipping or return costs.
8.3 TRANSFER OF RISK
For consumer orders, risk passes when you or a person designated by you receives physical possession of the product.
Consumers may have a 14-day right of withdrawal and a two-year legal guarantee of conformity.
Detailed instructions, return conditions, refund information and the model withdrawal form are available on our Returns and Warranty page.
The separate Returns and Warranty page forms part of these Terms but does not limit any mandatory consumer rights.
You may create an account to manage order information and account details.
You are responsible for keeping your login information confidential and for notifying us if you suspect unauthorised access.
We may suspend an account used fraudulently, unlawfully or in material breach of these Terms.
Closing an account does not require us to delete information that must be retained for orders, invoices, guarantees, security or legal obligations.

1.1 PURPOSE
KeyForge Master Configurator is desktop software developed for configuring supported KeyForge devices.
Depending on the device and software version, it may allow users to create and edit configurations, assign shortcuts and actions, create Advanced Custom Actions, manage multiple configurations, save configurations to the device, import or export backups and install supported firmware updates.
1.2 SOFTWARE LICENCE
KeyForge grants you a limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to download, install and use the Configurator for lawful personal or internal business use with supported KeyForge devices.
The Configurator is licensed and not sold. The licence does not transfer ownership of the software, firmware, interface, documentation, trademarks or other KeyForge intellectual property.
1.3 LOCAL CONFIGURATIONS
Configurations, custom actions and labels are normally stored locally on your computer and on the connected KeyForge device.
A compatible configuration saved to the device can ordinarily be used without keeping the Configurator open, maintaining an internet connection or creating a KeyForge account.
You are responsible for maintaining backups of configurations that you consider important.
You should not place passwords, authentication codes, payment information or sensitive confidential data inside macros unless you understand and accept the security risks.
1.4 CUSTOM ACTIONS
The Configurator may allow you to create actions that send keyboard inputs, shortcuts, text or other commands to your computer.
You are responsible for reviewing and testing your actions before relying on them, particularly where an action could delete information, run a command, submit a form, send a message, publish content or produce another irreversible result.
KeyForge is not responsible for an unintended result caused solely by a configuration created, imported or modified by the user.
This does not limit our responsibility where the unintended behaviour results directly from a defect for which KeyForge is legally responsible.
1.5 THIRD-PARTY APPLICATIONS
KeyForge does not control third-party applications and cannot guarantee that every shortcut or command will remain unchanged or behave identically in every application, operating system, language or keyboard layout.
You are responsible for checking the active application, keyboard layout, operating-system permissions and third-party shortcut settings.
1.6 SOFTWARE AND FIRMWARE UPDATES
KeyForge may provide updates to correct defects, improve reliability, maintain compatibility, improve security or add supported functions.
Where required by law, we will provide updates necessary to maintain product and software conformity.
During a firmware update, follow the displayed instructions and do not disconnect or reset the device unless instructed.
If an update fails, a supported device may appear as an RPI-RP2 recovery drive. You may then restore the device using the correct official firmware file and the recovery instructions provided by KeyForge.
1.7 ACCEPTABLE USE
You must not use the Configurator or firmware to introduce malware, gain unauthorised access, interfere with another person’s system, distribute malicious configurations, impersonate KeyForge or interfere with KeyForge infrastructure.
You must not redistribute modified proprietary software or firmware as an official KeyForge release.
1.8 SUPPORT
Support is available through info@keyforge.tech.
We may request the device model, operating system, Configurator version, firmware version, error messages, screenshots or relevant logs. Remove unrelated confidential information before sending files.
Unless otherwise stated, the KeyForge name, logos, product designs, website content, photographs, renders, documentation, software and firmware are owned by or licensed to KeyForge. Purchasing a product does not transfer intellectual-property ownership.
Open-source components remain subject to their respective licences.
Users retain ownership of original configuration content they create.
We aim to keep the website, downloads and update services available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation.
Temporary interruptions may occur because of maintenance, security incidents, software updates, hosting failures or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Temporary interruptions may occur because of maintenance, security incidents, software updates, hosting failures or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
An interruption to our website or update service should not prevent a supported device from using configurations successfully stored on it.
KeyForge is responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of our breach of contract or failure to exercise reasonable care and skill.
We are not responsible for losses caused solely by improper use, unsupported modifications, inaccurate customer information, third-party software changes or events outside our reasonable control.
15.1 SAFETY-CRITICAL USE
KeyForge products and software are intended for ordinary computer workflow use. They are not designed or certified for medical, emergency, industrial safety, vehicle-control, aviation, life-support or other safety-critical systems.
15.2 MANDATORY LIABILITY
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, intentional misconduct, mandatory product liability, consumer rights or another liability that cannot legally be excluded.
15.3 BUSINESS CUSTOMERS
Where a customer purchases primarily for business purposes, KeyForge is not liable, to the extent permitted by law, for indirect loss, loss of profit, revenue, business opportunity or anticipated savings.
For an order, return, product or software complaint, contact info@keyforge.tech and provide your name, order number and a clear description of the issue.
17.1 CONSUMER AUTHORITIES
Romanian consumers may submit a complaint to the National Authority for Consumer Protection
17.2 ALTERNATIVE DISPUTE RESOLUTION
Consumers may use the Romanian Alternative Dispute Resolution service where applicable
These Terms and contracts concluded through the website are governed by Romanian law.
A consumer residing in another country retains any mandatory consumer protections provided by the law applicable to them.
Nothing in these Terms prevents a consumer from bringing proceedings before a court that has jurisdiction under applicable consumer law.
We may update these Terms when our products, services, payment methods, delivery arrangements, software or legal obligations change.
The version applicable to an order is the version accepted when that order was submitted.
Changes do not retroactively alter an existing contract unless required by law or lawfully agreed with the customer.
